Managing Director, SJM Concerts

Simon Moran is founder and head of SJM Concerts, the company that co-owns T in the Park and V Festival and puts on around 2,000 gigs a year. He is also in charge of the Academy Music group of venues that includes Brixton Academy and the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. In 2009, Moran’s offer to promote a reunion tour prompted Take That to reform, and the result, The Circus Live, was the UK’s largest tour to date – followed by an even bigger one, Progress, two years later. One of the UK’s most influential music executives, Moran also owns rugby league club Warrington Wolves.
