Donald Chow Yun-fat, SBS

Prolific and versatile, actor Chow Yun-fat is able to play both heartthrobs and killers. With his dynamic on-screen presence, he has been garnering awards since the mid 80s. He has won three Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Actor and two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actor in Taiwan. He is best known in Asia for his collaborations with filmmaker John Woo in the heroic bloodshed genre films A Better Tomorrow, The Killer and Hard Boiled, and in the West for his roles as Li Mu-bai in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Sao Feng in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Whether he’s playing a comedic buffoon, a lover or a gangster, he continues to move audiences and inspire young actors from east to west.
