Warren Leung Chi-wo

Artist and Para Site Art Space co-founder Leung Chi-wo takes a multi-disciplinary approach to his art with photography, video and text through performance and installation. In 2001, a site-specific project was exhibited in the first Hong Kong pavilion of the Venice Biennale and his exhibition ‘No Soul For Sale’ appeared at London’s Tate Modern in 2010. He has received numerous awards and fellowships including the Urban Council Award of the Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial and the first prize in sculpture from the Philippe Charriol Art Foundation. He was visiting artist at Institut Kunst of Hochschule Luzern and École Cantonale d’Art du Valais in Switzerland, Monash University and Australian National University in Australia. His collaborations include ongoing creative work with long-time partner Sara Wong, and explorations with other writers, curators and anthropologists from around the world.
