A cool and pleasant stretch of weather ahead for the mid and late week. A cold front pushing across the region, triggered a few spotty showers. These will fade away, as the front moves off the coast. High pressure will move in behind this front, making for cooler and drier conditions the rest of the week. High temperatures Wednesday and Thursday will likely hold in the pleasant 70s, and overnight lows will bottom out in the cool 50s, even a few upper 40s are possible. Breezy northwest winds 10-20 mph, will prevail during the day Wednesday. As a dip in the jet stream over the East retreats north and high pressure moves off the coast toward the weekend, temperatures will warm back up and the humidity will increase. An approaching front could trigger some storms over the weekend. Colin is no longer a tropical storm and is well offshore of the East coast out into the Atlantic.

Tonight: Early spotty shower, clearing, breezy, cool, lows 52-58. Wednesday: Mostly sunny, breezy and cooler, low humidity, highs 70-76. Thursday: Mostly sunny, pleasant, highs 75-79. Friday: Sun and clouds, warmer but not humid, shower or storm possible, highs 77-82. Saturday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid, late day t-storms possible, highs 84-89. Sunday: Partly sunny, hot and humid, PM t-storm possible, highs 87-91. Monday: Mostly sunny, cooler, highs 78-83. Tuesday: Mostly sunny, highs 80-85.
