To be eligible to become a Student Subscriber of the APS, you need to be a current student studying an APAC-accredited psychology course - undergraduate and fourth year studies, and postgraduate Masters and Doctorate professional psychology programs - or a postgraduate research degree in psychology.

Professional guidelines and the APS code of ethics cover a range of topics that arise in the work of psychologists. The APS offers guidance and support as you embark on internships or paid employment, to help you to navigate the challenges that may present themselves in this work, keep you on a sure footing, and ensure you are practicing with the greatest legal protection. Recently developed documents include revised guidelines on psychological assessment and the use of psychological tests, while position papers and review papers give you access the range of research on key areas of interest to psychologists. New Student Subscribers receive a free copy of the APS Code of Ethics and Ethical Guidelines booklets (valued at $71.50 for non-members) when they join.
This publication is mailed to members every two months to keep them informed about topical issues and new developments in psychology. Each edition of InPsych includes substantial reports on issues and developments in the education and training sectors, and special sections devoted to select topical issues in the field. The Editor welcomes letters from Student Subscribers.
This fortnightly email update is distributed to all members with links to APS member news and website updates. This is the first port of call for the latest news in the sector, such as changes to Government funding or plans for psychology education as they are being unveiled.
