Charlottesville is getting closer to deciding what to do with the Ragged Mountain Natural Area.
The city’s Department of Parks and Recreation says it’s about 60 percent of the way through with its master plan for the area.
A public meeting will be held at the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20. Planners will collect input from the community during that meeting about what to do with the Ragged Mountain Trails.
The Charlottesville City Council is expected to make the final decision on the issue this fall.
