The forecast from Meteorologist David Rogers:
We will be seeing some cooler temperatures now folks as we continue through the week. Humidity values will remain somewhat high but nothing oppressive. High pressure is trying to build down from the north and this will lead to an easterly fetch of wind over the next few days. This will lead to the cooler high temps, generally in the upper 70s to low 80s. A stalled out front however just to our south will also help to lead to increased cloud cover and slight chances for showers. Nothing too heavy is anticipated and the coverage should be mostly isolated. As the high pressure system to our north makes its way off the coast by the end of the week, winds will shift to the south bringing in warmer and more humid air. We should also see more in the way of sunshine. By Saturday, a southwesterly wind returns the heat and humidity with high temps getting back into the 90s. At the same time however, a vigorous cold front will track in from the northwest. The clash of the air masses should lead to scattered showers and t-storms for Saturday PM. Some of these storms could be strong to severe. Behind this front, a pleasant and more seasonable air mass looks to settle in for Sunday into the start of next week. High pressure should also make for fair skies.
Wednesday: Early morning fog, variable clouds, cooler, few showers, highs 78-83. Thursday: Early morning fog, variable clouds, spotty shower possible, highs 78-83. Friday: More sunshine, warmer and humid, highs 84-89. Saturday: Sun/clouds, scattered PM storms, hot/humid, highs 89-93. Sunday: Mostly sunny, cooler and much less humid, highs 85-89. Monday: Mostly sunny and quite pleasant, highs 82-87. Tuesday: Mostly sunny, warmer but not too humid, highs 84-88.
