The Redskins will be on the field for the first day of Training Camp at the Bon Secours Practice Facility in Richmond on Thursday.

This is the fourth year that the training camp will be held in the Capital City.

The camp runs from 9:30 in the morning to five o'clock at night.

The morning walk-through is scheduled for 10:35-11:35, and the afternoon practice is at three o'clock, but head coach Jay Gruden says those times may change due to the weather.

"I might have to cut some period if it gets too hot," says Gruden.  "Maybe change our practice to the morning; flop our walk-through and our afternoon practice, where our pads are in the morning, and the afternoon is a walk-through. We'll see how it goes."

The Redskins enter training camp this season as the defending NFC East champions, and with Kirk Cousins firmly entrenched as the starting quarterback.

Washington improved from 4-12 in Gruden's first season to 9-7 in his second.

Gruden says, "We made major improvements last year, and we continue to expect our team to make those improvements, and this is no different."

Admission is free, and the camp runs through August 14th.
