CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WVIR) -

The Washington Redskins return four starters to this year's offensive line. The unit's experience playing together is helping the offensive line quickly gel.

"I think having the same group together is very important," says head coach Jay Gruden. "That's number one. When you have Trent Williams who has been here seven years, and you have left guard Spencer Long with the experience that he has. We can throw Kory Lichtensteiger in at center. At right guard, Brandon Scherff has a full-year under his belt. Morgan Moses has a full year under his belt as a starting right tackle."

"I think we're doing pretty well, says second year right guard Brandon Scherff. "Morgan [Moses] and I have talked a lot more than we did last year. We're just trying to communicate a lot more before each play. If he sees something, he communicates it and if I see something I communicate is, so its all about communication."

Right tackle Morgan Moses says, "Being able to play on an offensive line that hasn't changed much from last year, we can start from where we left off at OTAs -- but also, what we did in Houston. Getting out there, having dinner, working out together and just having that chemistry."

"Everybody knows where to step, walk and block, so I feel like we're going to have a great offensive line," says running back Matt Jones.

"I feel insulted because I'm very much apart of the offensive line as a tight end," says Nile Paul. "I'm in the trenches blocking the same big people. I'm just a little lighter -- I feel like the Hogs 2.0 are out here. We got Trent, Big Mo'. Tye, Kory, we got some big boys out there, Brandon -- I see them coming along and just being here six years ago, I see the difference in the offensive line from then, until now."
