The Keck Lab is a central facility currently at JILA. JILA is a multidisciplinary institute operated jointly by the University of Colorado at Boulder and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). JILA researchers have produced innovative developments in lasers and optical science and use laser technology in fundamental research in physics and chemistry. Reservation
To assure availability of an instrument, reserving the item is recommended. Reservations can be made through the User's section. JILA users have first priority, CU/NIST users second, and Non-CU clients third. All bookings are locked in for a 24 hour period before usage.

Fabrication Lab
The fabrication facility is a 1650 square-foot suite of Class 1000 (ISO 6) and Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom bays on the first floor of JILA's new X-wing. The SEM's are located in a specially constructed room in this area.
