Today we're rolling a new brand new features for the site: Badges. Badges are earnable, collectible awards given to our users for performing activities and contributing content to the site. They are a fun way to encourage users to be active on the site and to reward them for it.
We are releasing an initial set of Badges now and will continue to add new ones over time. In addition to regular Badges, there will also be secret and hidden Badges as well.
You can view the current set of available Badges and how to get them here:

Be aware that there are already hidden and secret Badges as well that won't show up on this list! To see the Badges that you have earned, simply head to your Profile. You can view the Badges of your friends as well by viewing their Profiles. And of course, if you simply want nothing to do with Badges, you can hide them from your Profile in your site settings.
