High pressure remains over the region through much of the week with a cold front moving through on Friday. High pressure returns for the weekend. The tropical Atlantic is busy with three systems. One depression is weakening, while another off the coast of Africa is forecast to strengthen to a tropical storm and hurricane. Closer to the Lesser Antilles is a tropical wave that could develop and move closer to the United States by early next week. We will continue to watch these systems.
Today: Partly sunny, comfortable, highs 80-85. Wednesday: Mostly sunny, pleasant, highs 82-87. Thursday: Mostly sunny, warmer, little more humid, highs 83-88. Friday: Sun and clouds, isolated PM t-showers, hot and more humid, highs 89-93. Saturday: Mostly sunny, warm, highs 85-90. Sunday: Mostly sunny, warm, highs 84-89.
