High pressure to our north slowly nosing down across the region continues to bring fair skies, not too terribly warm temps, and a little less humidity. Much of this is thanks to a northeast breeze. Monday will be a little muggy but overall, a very similar day to what we saw Sunday can be expected. High pressure at the surface and aloft looks to keep things fairly quiet for the first half of the week. A weak cold front moving by to our north Monday/Tuesday may spark a PM t-shower across the Valley. Heat and humidity increase Wednesday as another cold front approaches from the northwest. This front looks to come through with little fanfare so right now it appears we just have a low chance for a few PM storms. Behind this front, Canadian high pressure builds in to bring a noticeable drop in temperatures and humidity values. The air mass will almost be a preview of early Fall-like conditions. These comfy conditions and fair skies will take us through the weekend. We will have to watch and see what happens with tropical depression nine that will track into the Gulf of Mexico to start the week. Much uncertainty remains with the exact track this system will take and just how strong it will get. Stay tuned!

Monday: Early morning fog otherwise sunny, quite warm but not too humid, stray PM shower/storm possible across the Valley, highs 87-91. Tuesday: Mostly sunny, little more humid, isolated PM t-shower possible, highs 85-89. Wednesday: Sun and clouds, hot/humid, few PM storms possible, highs 89-93. Thursday: Sun and clouds, early shower possible, cooler and less humid, highs 84-88. Friday: Ample sunshine and quite comfortable, highs 76-80. Saturday: Ample sunshine and very pleasant, highs 77-81. Sunday: Mostly sunny and pleasant, highs 80-84.
