Musical genes in him, keeps driving the musical passion which compelled him to leave his job. ‘Without music, life would be a mistake’, is Abhijeet’s philosophy. Among his Odia hits are Aaji bi tu, Rahichu Mo Chati tale Ghara Kari from Odia Movie “ Sata Sure Bandha E Jibana” was a super duper hit one. Kati Jai Thiba Kagaja Ra Gudi from ACP Sagarika and Srabani Go odia song from Album Season was remarkable. Abhijeet have sung for numerous Odia Movies, Bhajan, Album and TV serials in Odisha. His youth fan base came from his recent hit in Assamese and Odia Version of Bollywood song SALAMAT from the movie SARBJIT and SOCH NA SAKE from AIRLIFT is mind-blowing, which recently officially released by T-Series.

Q : How was your recent experience working in SALAMAT from the movie SARBJIT and SOCH NA SAKE from Airlift, which made your TRP High.

Mishra: A week back, I had move to T-Series studio for dubbed a song of an Odia Bhajan Album Nandighose, where Sonu Nigamji had also lent his voice. After dubbing the song, T-Series management wants to listen more from me. Here I sang – “soch na sake” hindi version on YouTube which uploaded previously. They heard me, instantly offered me the Assamese version of “Soch Na Sake”, first of its kind in the industry which became more popular in ASSAM.

Ans : Spontaneous flow of immense emotions in tranquility.

Q-2: Do you have a family background in music?
Ans : Yes, right from my great grandfather , grandmother and father Prasanna Mishra ( Odia film actor, Percussionist, Theatre Director ). I belong to a family of Art & Culture.

Q-3: What inspired and influenced you the most?
Ans : My parents have always been my inspiration not only in music, also in every situation be it ‘taste of good music’, musicians’ and artist.

Q-4: Did you ever have a “Formal Musical training”?
Ans : Yes, I am trained in Hindustani Classical Music.

Q-5: If I was to turn on your ipod right now, what five artists/songs would I see on your recently played list?
Ans : No doubt first will be Rafi Saab follwed by Lata ji ,Hariharan ji, Sonu Nigam ji, Arijit Singh.

Q-6: What are the five things you can’t live without?
Ans : My personal Home Studio PC, My Music Programming Keyboard, All my VSTi Software Collections, Mobile phone & good food.

Q-7: Upcoming Songs/Album ?
Ans : Recently T-series released Odia Version of Bollywood song Soch Na Sake and Salamat, its Assamese Versions too. I have couple of projects with T-series lined-up. I have an International collaboration with an Artist from USA. Also Couple of Odia Film Songs.

Q-8: Which famous music director do you admire and Why?
Ans : A.R Rehman- because, his music are always unique and also sets a benchmark for the industry. He makes and thinks music which is 20 years ahead of time. Also I like Salim Sulaiman – Master of Sound.

Q-9: If you could go open up for any artist on tour right now who would it be ?
Ans : The Great, One and Only Lata Ji. My all time favorite, my musical inspiration. Waiting for the glorious moment.

Q-10: Ten years from now you will be ?
Ans : Hah Ha. Yes I also have some dream and vision. I dream of being a good Music Director, Singer in India and also to be good human being.

Q-11: What will be your advice to new comer ?
Ans : Currently those who are coming to the industry- Now days lots of scope are there to enhance or sharp the voice. But I can only say, Patience and Hard work is the key to success.
