Spirit of France

Spirit of France was delivered from Rauma shipyard on January 2012. The newest and the most advanced technology is being utilised in the design and construction of this car-passenger ferry. Special attention is paid to environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions and safety. With a gross tonnage of 47 600 and 213 meters in lenght, the ferry is the largest vessels to fit present facilities in the ports and the first Channel ferries designed to manoeuvre under their own power.

Ship has space for more than 180 freight vehicles, more than doubling the freight carrying capacity of the ships that they are replacing, whilst also providing a third vehicle deck for up to 195 cars.
