Meningococcal disease, commonly called meningitis, is a sudden, potentially life-threatening illness. Babies are most vulnerable because they have not yet developed protection against the disease. Young adults are next most at-risk, particularly those in college who live in close contact with others, as this helps to pass on the infection.
Through our Win for Meningitis campaign, we’re helping to raise awareness of this damaging disease and what can be done to help protect against it.
