Aston Martin have had a patchy financial history yet somehow managed to stay remain in car production. They have established themselves by being one of the best homegrown sports touring car manufacturers in the UK. After several owners and successful post war competitive sports car racing the brand became particularly well known in the 60’s possibly helped by the James Bond association. The brand survives to to date, still appealing to the high end clientele.
