Studebaker were a long established independent American company when they took over and assimilated Packard in the 50’s. The brand were known or their innovative styling and reputation for quality and reliability. A small number of Larks and Hawks arrived in 1955, with RHD examples eventually being sold but imports were wound down following the financial decline of the company in the mid 60’s.
