Formed in 1959, the first cars were competition specials (something that Marcos excelled in throughout their history) followed by the larger GT and the mini based Mini Marcos from the mid 60’s. The company had various stops and starts in production with incarnations of previous models appearing sporadically over 50 years, however production of a Marcos branded car finally ceased in 2003.
