Our mission is to make the best scholarship and research available to as many people as we can. To make this possible, OUP works with world-renowned scholars at the top of their fields. The delegates of each subject serve as stewards over the publishing in their general subject area—history, music, science, philosophy, etc.—and approve each publication with the assistance of professors familiar with the work in question who have read and reviewed it in detail.
