Organize in your hometown into true progressive, year-round, diverse and inclusive political organizations that seek to gain local political power. Run for office to organize, keep organizing after you win. Connect with other progressives with solidarity, inclusiveness and kindness.

Throughout California, organizations and groups of people have asked us to visit their communities and share how we achieved our progressive transformation of Richmond.

It is my privilege to participate in this effort, and I will continue to do this important outreach work in the coming years, presenting the Richmond Progressive Model, and sharing our experience to encourage others to do it as well.

If we did it in Richmond, under the money might of the Chevron refinery, it can be done anywhere and everywhere.
