First arrived in the UK in 1953, these well engineered cars with good performance were expensive but well regarded. The later cars were technically advanced but like most imported cars of the era had struggled to maintain much of a market share. Had the company not folded in 1962, they would have been a worthy adversary to the contemporary range of German saloons and coupes.
