Moskvitch

First imports into the UK arrived in 1959, with an attractive equipment list helping sales of these LHD old fashioned 2 stroke engined saloons. Sales increased with the marginally more modern but still crude 4 series models until exhaust emissions forced the importers to drop Moskvitch from UK dealers. The same importers replaced the car with the better Fiat based Lada models in 1974.
