This Charter details our commitment to provide professional, value for money services to you, our customers.

To demonstrate this commitment, Council will build and maintain relationships based on open and effective communication and provide responsive and timely service to our diverse community and region. A copy of our Customer Service Charter is available for you to download.

Your Feedback is Important to Us

We encourage and welcome suggestions or feedback and will take these into account to improve best practice service and stay in touch with your needs.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY 2014

Council at its meeting of 14 April 2014 authorised officers to proceed with a 2014 Customer Satisfaction Survey. The  Survey was undertaken by market research consultants who undertook the survey of 500 residents from a cross section of the broad Regional Council community.

If you have any complaints, issues or concerns about our services, actions or decisions, you can complete our online form here.

CALL CENTRE

To meet the changing needs of the community and the provision of accurate and timely service, an initiative of Council is the implementation of a locally based "Call Centre".

As the ‘first point of contact" a large majority of enquiries and business transactions are attended to by Customer Service Officers, prior to seeking assistance from professional or technical Officers.

Please phone 1300 883 699 for all enquiries to Council, unless otherwise advertised.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Property owners are required to notify Council of a change of address as soon as possible. If you have changed address, or intend to change your address from that stated on your Rate Notice, please advise Council in writing to enable records to be changed and to ensure that all correspondence etc reaches the correct address.

If you have more than one assessment / property, please give the details of each property to which the change relates. 

Changes will not be accepted via telephone.

Council continues to operate a high standard of "frontline" customer service from within its four specialised Regional Service Centres, located throughout the Council District.

These Centres offer a full range of services including:

Business Hours of Operation are from Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:45 pm daily.

An After Hours Emergency Service is available by contacting 1300 883 699 outside normal hours of operation.
