Pitching Charts

In ballparks and backyards across America, children play baseball while pretending to be Randy Johnson, Roger Clemens, Mariano Rivera, or some other famous pitcher. The kids know as Greg Maddux said with tongue in cheek, "Chicks dig the long ball." Many of those pitcher-idols dominate the pitching charts. The following baseball pitching clubs and Top 1,000 pitching charts are meant to answer virtually any question you may have about the all-time leaderboards for most-pitching stats.

"A pitcher is not a ballplayer." - Christy Mathewson in The Old Ball Game: How John McGraw, Christy Mathewson, and the New York Giants Created Modern Baseball (Frank Deford, Grove Press Publisher, 03/03/2006, Page 14)
