Designer Emma Cook worked for Donna Karan and Martine Sitbon before launching her own label in 2000. The imaginative Brit is inspired by a fictional muse named Susie who travels to a new locale every season. There’s been, for instance, punky Suzy-Styrene, Lonesome Suzanne, and then, Lazy Susan. Cook describes her design signatures as "prints, embellishments and girly clothes with a sense of humor." She’s also known for her nature-inspired digital prints, featuring animals and plant motifs.
