Dima Andreyuk is a busy guy for sure! In early January 2019 we were still mailing out free copies of TOUGH RIFFS MAGAZINE issue # 6 to the winners of our "Best Of 2018 Readers Poll" and in the meantime he already released two more issues of his excellent zine. While the visual side luckily hasn't changed at all (apart from a great new logo, courtesy of Mark Riddick), content wise issue # 7 turned out a little different than usual though. Instead of classic acts all the way through, the majority of the content consists of pretty new / young bands this time. In his editorial / intro page Dima mentions that he had plans to do a second zine entitled ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE, in which all these interviews were supposed to appear. But luckily he decided to focus on TOUGH RIFFS only and used the following interviews all for this issue instead: PYREXIA, SKINLESS, ANATOMIA, SKELETAL REMAINS, OF FEATHER AND BONE, COFFIN CREEP, ROTHEADS, CRYPTWORM, NECROT, ECTOPLASMA, FETID ZOMBIE, GALVANIZER, PHRENELITH, a 6 pages special entitled "IN MEMORIAM: KILLJOY" (by Jay H.Gorania) about the passing of NECROPHAGIA's Killjoy, including memories of Metal historians, journalists, label heads and musicians. A cool MATTERHORN comic ("The great gig in Hell") by Ultraxx (of FROM THE GRAVE WAVE magazine), a couple of reviews and the great cover artwork, courtesy of Thomas Westphal (Necromaniac Zine) complete issue # 7 this time.
