Get ready for some more Dr Pepper in your life.

And this time it comes with a Lone Star State twist.

On July 1, just in time for the Fourth of July holiday, Taco Cabana is mixing up a brand new, frozen alcoholic beverage.

Mixing Jack Daniels and Coke has always been a bar staple. But now, Taco Cabana is will allow half of that concoction to be made with Dr Pepper.

As always, in order for patrons to enjoy this tasty treat, they must show the required identification proving that they are indeed 21 years of age or older.

On May 1 of this year, for the first time in five years, the soda offered a new flavor: Dark Berry.

The new flavor was created as part of a promotional tie-in with the upcoming Marvel Studios movie 'Spider-Man: Far From Home.'

That film will hit theaters this coming holiday weekend on July 5.

You can purchase a 12-pack of Dark Berry cans for about $5.29. A 20 oz. bottle, will cost you roughly $1.99.

Dr Pepper was created in Waco in 1885 and has been something of an unofficial state soft drink of Texas.

However, there is a petition on change.org that is looking to make Dr Pepper (which is owned by the Dr Pepper Snapple Group), the official state beverage of Texas.
