    She's doing the sound for Mulan later this year. Would be cool if 2020 was finally her Oscar year.

    You know who else is overdue for an Oscar? 10-time Oscar Nominee Anna Behlmer (Sound mixer for Star Trek, LA Confidential, Moulin Rouge, Thin Red Line, Braveheart, Heat, X-Men and a slew of others). One of the most nominated women in Academy history & she has yet to win an Oscar

    peeps: If nomination ballots are due tomorrow, & the DGA & PGA noms aren’t announced until tomorrow, would it be logical to speculate that many AMPAS members will turn ballots in blind to the results & thus they will have less impact than usual on the nominee outcome?

    1917 getting a WGA nom gives it a much better chance at winning BP than winning the Golden Globe last night (I think). It has solid odds at a Screenplay, Editing, and Directing nom for Oscars. That's usually a really good trio.
