Hannibal Buress performs onstage at 'The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn and Open Mike Eagle' during the 2019 SXSW Conference and Festivals at Esther's Follies on March 10, 2019 in Austin, Texas.

The comedian promises it won't be a 'Fyre Festival part 2 type situation.'

Hannibal Buress has announced plans for a comedy and music festival coming to Isola, Mississippi.

Buress isn't giving his fans much notice, as the three-day Isola Fest is set to kick off on Dec. 13.

The lineup of artists includes T-Pain and Flying Lotus performing on Saturday (Dec. 14), while Open Mike Eagle is set to hit the stage on Sunday (Dec. 15). Tickets for the festival are now available. Daily passes are on sale for $30 with three-day tickets going for $75.

"I'm having a festival December 13-15th in rural Mississippi. That's kind of short notice but I'm good with it. Isola is short for Isolation. I know this sounds like some Fyre Festival part 2 type situation but we have things pretty much in order," Buress joked in a statement. "Our sandwiches are just as equally trash as theirs though. Some things you just can't control."

The comedian added what may seem like a random location for a festival, actually holds meaning to Buress since his mother's side is from there. "This is the town my mother's side of the family is from," he said. "My cousin owns a venue called Playaz Palace so I'm getting a deal on these nights. The lineup is gonna be great. T-Pain, Flying Lotus, Open Mike Eagle, Eryn Allen Kane, Serengeti, and Khris Royal are all performing. It's going to be a great time."
