SAO (via Operations and System Administrators) assists Service Managers with their machines in the Computer
Centre.
If you are a Service Manager and would like to work with the Operations or Sysadmin
team, please read and apply the following.
Ask for a specific administration task on a machine
» create an ITCM ticket
(see "Hints" → )
Ask for machine repair
» your machine must be administered by the SysAdmins (excludes
quattor nodes with "no contract")
create an ITCM ticket

Ask for clarification or complain about the SysAdmin service

Send general annoucement to the Sysadmin Service

(NOTE that this mailing list should not be used to ask for specific
SysAdmin task)
Please note that installation, move and rename requests
for equipment in the Computer Centre are no longer allowed. Operations directly take care of these aspects.
Service Managers can still ask for
retirement
of obsolete equipment.
