Mike Watt guests on Bernays Propaganda song for Planned Parenthood comp
Songs From Under the Floorboard is the name of DJ Dave Cantrell’s post-punk/synthwave radio show on Portland’s XRAY FM, and Cantrell is now also turning it into what is anticipated to be a yearly compilation album with proceeds going to LGBTQ and fem-oriented service organizations. The first installment, Songs From Under the Floorboard, Vol. 1, is due out on April 6 via Accident Prone Records (pre-order), and proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.
We’re premiering a song/video from the album by Macedonia’s Bernays Propaganda, which features punk legend Mike Watt (Minutemen, The Stooges, etc) on bass. It’s called “Ništo Nema da ne Razdeli” and if you like ethereal goth/darkwave type stuff you might like this. The video was written and directed by David Doljanica and Milan Blazevski, and you can watch it below.
