    Aye, it's getting a bit wearing.

    I’d hoped that the sexist tropes my & prior generations had to put up with would’ve been well in the past by now. But here we have a smart, articulate woman - holding senior government office - still being told she’s a ‘shouty’ girl for (perfectly calmly) expressing her opinions.

    A reminder that from tomorrow, staff & secondary school pupils will need to wear a face covering in school corridors & communal areas or where physical distancing is difficult. We understand some people cannot wear face coverings for good reasons.

    I work in Manchester. My office job pays me £22,000 a year and can be done from home. The government want me to now spend £250 a month on trains and give up 40 hours a month in travel to buy a £6 sandwich from Pret everyday with whatever’s left of my disposal income. Hmm.
