Cleveland Museum of Art (U.S.A.)

The presence in The Cleveland Museum of Art of more than twenty works by Rodin is due to the gifts of numerous donors, largely during the first quarter of the XXe century. Cast under Rodin's direct supervision, the large version of The Thinker, which is nowadays placed on the square of the museum, was purchased from the artist by Clevelander Ralph T. King who donated it to the museum in 1917.
