3. New safety measures
The health and safety of our visitors and staff is paramount. We will be following government advice on health and safety as a minimum, with additional measures and standards also in place. Among these measures will be a limited number of visitors at any one time, and asking that all visitors wear a face covering while at the RA. Find out more.

Picasso and Paper
9 July – 2 August 2020
Pablo Picasso rewrote the rules of painting, but he also tore up the rulebook for paper. Bringing together more than 300 of the artist’s works, both on and with paper, this exhibition spans his entire prolific career and represents a significant chapter in modern art. -
Gauguin and the Impressionists
7 August – 18 October 2020
This August, the RA brings together 60 works from Denmark’s Ordrupgaard Collection by painters such as Manet, Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Morisot, Degas and Gauguin – many of which have never been seen in the UK. -
The Summer Exhibition
6 October 2020 – 3 January 2021
For the first time in history, the Summer Exhibition will fall in winter. But at the RA, summer is a state of mind, not a time of year. Discover a myriad of works by household names and emerging artists inside our joyous festival of art.
