For some people, the world of literature can seem remote and forbidding. The Royal Society of Literature’s Outreach Programme seeks to change this.

Young People

We works with state schools and RSL Fellows to provide inspirational author visits and ensure that young people are able to access our world-class events. Learn more about this work here. We also run writing competitions for young people, such as Tall Tales, Short Stories.

Prisons
