NH stretch to reduce Bengaluru-Mysuru travel time to 75 minutes; to be ready in October: Nitin Gadkari
Th 117 km-long stretch of the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru section of NH-275 is being developed at a cost of Rs 8,350 crore. Gadkari, the Minister for Road Transport and Highways, said the stretch will be completed in October. It will enhance the connectivity between the two important cities and will also provide an impetus to tourism and economy of the region.
421 infra projects show cost overruns of Rs 4.73 lakh cr
"Total original cost of implementation of the 1,565 projects was Rs 21,86,542.05 crore and their anticipated completion cost is likely to be Rs 26,59,914.61 crore, which reflects overall cost overruns of Rs 4,73,352.56 crore (21.65% of original cost)," the ministry's latest report for February 2022 said.

Sekura, PATH highest bidders for new ToT packages
Sekura Roads offered the highest bid of Rs1107 crore for the ToT 6 bundle while PATH offered Rs1314 crore ToT 8 bundle. Canadian institutional investor CDPQ (Indian Highways Concessions Trust) offered a price of Rs1071 crore, while Adani Group offered Rs702 crore for the ToT 6 bundle.
Nitin Gadkari: Government to better world record in highway construction this month
