Assistant Chief Engineer

WFMJ Television, Inc., a broadcast television station located in Youngstown, Ohio with NBC & CW affiliation, is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer, as directed.

Located halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland, Youngstown is in the midst of a cultural and economic renaissance that combines rich historical tradition with the zeal of a new generation, according to U. S. News & World Report.  The area is seeing a resurgence of business in its once-empty downtown area, including restaurants, bars, galleries and local shops. Typical of most Midwestern cities, Youngstown’s residents are friendly and regularly gather to celebrate their community. The downtown area is surrounded by farmland, and residents enjoy shopping at local farms and Amish markets. The Mill Creek MetroParks includes over 5,000 acres of lakes, hiking trails, bike trails, historical sites, golf courses and more found throughout the metro area. Those who don’t relish the outdoors can find plenty of arts and culture in Youngstown. Compared to other metro areas of similar size, the cost of living in Youngstown is much lower.

WFMJ Television, Inc. offers a generous benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, paid vacation, and sick time.
