—Opponent of marriage equality who was both “sad” and “disappointed” when “activist judges” found the state’s marriage ban to be unconstitutional.

—Threatened special legislation to pass a state marriage amendment for a second time.

—Issued campaign flyer accusing his opponent of putting “the interests of the radical homosexual lobby ahead of our Boy Scouts.
