The new series "Dragon Ball DAIMA" is set to premiere this autumn. It marks the first television anime installment in the "Dragon Ball" series since the conclusion of "Dragon Ball Super" in March 2018, making it a highly anticipated return after six years.
The announcement came during the online event "Fuji TV Anime Lineup Presentation 2024" held on March 11th. Masako Nozawa, the voice behind Goku in the anime, appeared during the event, proudly showing off her Dragon Ball-themed jacket.
During the event, Nozawa raised a question, wondering if characters other than Goku would also shrink in the story, as part of the plot involves the characters shrinking due to a conspiracy.
Lastly, Nozawa shared her excitement, emphasizing the unpredictability of the "Dragon Ball" series and urging fans to watch with anticipation.
"Dragon Ball DAIMA" features entirely new episodes written by Akira Toriyama himself. Toriyama, known for his meticulous involvement in the creation process, has crafted a storyline where Goku and his friends embark on an adventure to an unknown and mysterious world to unravel a conspiracy.
