​​Calvin Baker is the author of four internationally acclaimed novels and a recent book of creative nonfiction, A More Perfect Reunion: Race, Integration, and the Future of America. His essays on film, literature, and politics have appeared in Harper’s Magazine, the Atlantic, and the New York Times Magazine. He is currently Distinguished Writer in Residence at Skidmore College.
