Secure Transactions
To protect your sensitive information and personal data, we use the latest encryption standards for safe transactions on the Internet.
We are PCI Certified
Since November 2005 we have been certified for the PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standard. This entitles us to take online submissions of your credit cards by VISA, Mastercard or Amex.
Credit Card Handling
For your protection we do not store your credit card information permanently online. After having received your card details, we store your data on paper and delete the information from our server except for the last 4 digits and the expiration date and store your information on paper. This may take from a few minutes up to 12 hours.
Privacy Policy
Our website can be used without entering personal information. For registered users with an artelino account applies the following privacy policy:
- We do not give your name and address to any other companies or third parties.
- We do not send unsolicited e-mails or advertising letters.
- With your registration, you can opt to receive our auction reminder. You can opt out at any time with just one click.
- Registered users have access to all data that we have stored about you when you login to your account. You can make a printout of your master data.
- Registered users can remove their data by logging in and activating the REMOVE page. If you never placed an order with us, your personal data will be removed completely and immediately. If you placed one or more orders with us in the past, we may be legally barred to delete such information. In this case we deactivate your account and any access is blocked - including for you, of course.
- On the basis of the Federal Data Protection Act and the European Data Protection Act , you have the right to contact us at no costs if you have questions relating to the collection, processing or use of your personal data.
- You have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of your personal data . Please note: We do not change any client account data by email request - for security reasons and for strict company policy. Please use the programs available from your account menu. Please make sure that your account data is up-to-date, especially your shipment address.
- Apart from the data that you can view, print and - in the case of your master account data - change, we do not store any personal data about our clients or registered users.
- Registered users that do not have any orders with us, and whose account does not show any update or login activity for 2 years, are automatically deleted by our system - physically and completely removed from our server.
Use of Cookies
No cookies are applied for users who have never created an account with artelino or for registered users who deleted the cookies from their browser(s)and have not logged in since then.
Logging
We log security relevant transactions like account logins to protect your security and for compliance with the PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standard.
