Media company Genius recently raised $15 million in fundraising, Billboard has confirmed. The investment comes from Everblue, a new fund by Eric Mindich primarily focused on music and e-sports.
According to a company spokesperson, "with this new round of funding Genius will amplify its work in original content and video, community development, live events, and strategic partnerships with streaming services and new platforms."
The news was first reported in a Forbes feature published earlier this week.
So far, Genius has raised $79 million in funding since it was founded in 2009.
