05-Apr-2014 -- Looking for some fun with the GPS, I found some years ago the Degree Confluence Project. During my last trip to a fair in Frankfurt, I remembered this project and found a close confluence point at the motorway A3. I checked the hunting sheet and realized all details and stuff were ready to go.

I found a good parking place close to a garden center south of Zellhausen. The distance to the spot was around 450 m. There are a few ways heading directly to the spot. Only the last 50 m are offroad; leveled terrain. Some days ago lumberjacks did some work here. So you get excellent satellite signal now.

The noise at this spot is awful. I suggest to do some pictures and leave as soon as you can. But anyway it was great fun to get to this spot - being at this very exact coordinates. I'm sure I will go for other confluence points in the area the next time.
