Our platform, Möbius, is an industry-leading e-learning environment backed by a world-class math engine. It’s online courseware that supports the needs of students pursuing studies in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

We’ll contact you

We’ll schedule a phone call to kick things off. Our phone screens are all about finding out more about you than we can read off your resume. It’s also a good time for you to ask any questions you may have about the role, team, and company culture.

Hiring Manager

From there, we’ll move to a Zoom call with the Hiring Manager. This is where we dive into the role expectations and measures of success, and try to determine if there’s an alignment with your skill set and experience.

Get to know us

We’ll make sure you get the opportunity to meet a few more faces in our team, either from within the team you may join or from People & Culture. It’s important to know who you’re going to work with!

Competency

We’ll then ask you to complete a challenge of sorts – something that helps us see how you tackle problems and interpret opportunities.

References

Before we make our official offer, we’ll speak to a few people you’ve worked with before. We ask for their advice on how to ensure you have a great experience here, what’s the best way to keep you motivated and empowered, etc.

Touch base

Lastly, we’ll touch base one final time to ensure you have a realistic job preview and are feeling good about coming aboard! From there, it’s signatures, confetti and looking ahead to Day 1 of working at DigitalEd 🙂

  • How do you build and nurture culture in a fully remote work environment?

    Remote work can feel like you’re on an island sometimes. Which is why we believe culture is more than just virtual happy hours (though we love those too). It’s about using all possible options and avenues to intentionally create spaces where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and feel seen, heard, and supported. 

    • We focus on the values-focused customs and rituals that make a genuine impact, like our weekly company-wide team meeting every Thursday; and our bi-weekly People-y newsletter that some folks have admitted to dropping everything when it arrives  and devouring it like a new Archie comic.  
    • We utilize our tech tools for good, cue up the automations and AI to keep things fresh and connected. And we keep conversations casual in our social Slack channels. (But it has gotten a wee bit testy during our last two rounds of Rock Paper Scissors in the #games channel.) 
    • Lastly, our People Leaders are great at team-wide shoutouts that remind us of the rockstars we work alongside.  We’re committed to making sure that no one ever feels like they’re working alone, even when they’re in their pajamas in a different time zone.
  • What's it like to work at DigitalEd?

    Imagine a place where your ideas are as welcome as a 3pm finish on Fridays (that’s us!), where you’re encouraged to be yourself (yes, your quirky, meme-loving self), and where teamwork makes the dream work—literally. As a fully remote team member, you’re trusted to manage your time and your workload. While we have core working hours, flextime is encouraged if it works for you and your role. We focus on outcomes, not attendance. As long as the work is getting done we’re about learning, growing, and laughing along the way. 

  • When can I expect to receive feedback and coaching on my performance?

    Feedback at DigitalEd is like WiFi—log on, and it’s fully accessible! We believe in honest, ongoing conversations, either during regular 1:1s,  quarterly Goal Check Ins or semi-annual Performance Check Ins. Whether it’s a quick Slack message, a one-on-one chat, or during our regular team meetings, we’re all about helping each other grow. You’ll get feedback early and as often as you want to tap in it. When it comes to coaching, our leaders are like guides: there to help you navigate your career path with plenty of encouragement and support along the way.
