Cara Delevingne has helped power Paper Towns straight to the top of the UK box office.

The John Green adaptation debuts in the top spot with takings of £2.7 million, leaving Pixar's emotional rollercoaster Inside Out to retain its position at number two with £1.7m.

Meanwhile, new release Sinister 2 debuts at number three this week with takings of £1.2m.

Ed Helms's comedy reboot Vacation and Jack Whitehall's Bad Education Movie land at seven and eight respectively with £608,748 and £594,861.

Last week's number one, Adam Sandler's gaming comedy Pixels, drops to number six with takings of £820,456.
