On the reserved track at Anchorsholme
The success of the Blackpool to Fleetwood line has been that, north of Cabin, it runs on its own reserved track so is not impeded by motor vehicles. Pantograph car No 170 is seen here on what is, in effect, an electric railway.

I am standing on the South Promenade at Cleveleys, Lancashire, and looking out to the Irish Sea where what appears to be the Heysham to Douglas ferry is making its way west.
