Chapters of this book on technology and Luddism are very good. It is a wonderful source of information. The late chapters are kind of choppy--abruptly shifting gears. I did not finish it.

don't be deceived into thinking this is another "Waste" or "Omnivore's Dilemma" like i was. this is some seriously twisted sh*t by a guy who thinks everything's just fine and there's no crisis or global warming or anything.
