Readers will notice the loss of Herald staff in newspaper

My deepest sympathies for The Herald’s newsroom staff regarding the pending layoffs. As a subscriber I look forward to my daily emails containing the day’s stories and then get hooked on other stories.

I am amazed your publisher said “Moving forward, operations are not going to change much. The readers won’t notice.” What an incredibly uninformed, short-sighted and asinine statement! Does he think your readers are ignorant buffoons? Of course, we’ll notice!

Best of luck to you all!
