Bethlehem police are investigating a shooting early Sunday that left a man critically wounded.

Police said the shooting happened around 4:10 a.m. along the 1300 block of Fritz Drive, in the Marvine-Pembroke housing development

After police received a 911 call, officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound. They provided first aid until the man was taken by Bethlehem EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the man was in critical condition.
